Progress is going well on a Brazilian/Adi OM and a double side Mahogany/Lutz size 2 for The Podium. A bunch of repairs and of course summer has slowed things bit.
The double side Mahogany/Adi 000 12F Slothead is complete and I am very happy with everything on this guitar.
It may already have a home. I’ll know in a week.
Lots of tortoise on this one, binding, rosette, and tuner knobs. Oh yeah, bridge pins too. The rosette actually looks really nice, I think I’ll do it again.
The double side size 2 I am building with former Podium owner Jeff Molde is nearing completion. We shaped the neck last visit. This week we will finish refining the neck and after that it’s level and fret and finish sanding.
Enjoy what is left of the summer everyone. Hard to believe the fourth of July is here already. When you think about it, the trees in MN are really only fully happy for about three out of twelve months a year.
