I finally have #76, a double side Bird’s Eye Maple/ Indian Rosewood OM ready for sale.
It has a 25.4 scale, 1 3/4” nut, 2 1/4” bridge spacing, Brazilian bridge and headstock veneer, and Waverly tuners. It is loud and sounds great to my ear. It should be with David Roos at www.davidroosmusic.com in a couple of weeks. I really like this guitar and will use this wood combo again.
I am nearing completion on a 16” all laminate Maple archtop. This one will probably have a neck mounted humbucker. It will have EVO frets. Should be a great feedback resistant gigging guitar.
After a horrible winter things are looking up as you can tell by the happy Hostas. After the archtop I am looking at a Brazilian 000 12F slothead, possibly a Brazilian OM and a double side Mahogany OM as well as another 16’ Archtop. That will take me well into 2019. The medical issues in the family that brought things to a halt last fall and winter are resolving so I should be more productive.
