Progress continues on a couple of guitars. One quilted Mahogany 000 12F Slothead and one Bird’s eye Maple OM with Rosewood inner sides. Boxes should be closed this weekend. Probably off to finish mid September so the Podium should have them before Thanksgiving.
Had a shop visit by Chris Olson, an instructor in jazz guitar at McNally Smith.

He owns one of my archtops and we did a little tweaking on the setup. It was fun to listen to him play.
Got a double side Mahogany Sitka OM back from finish. It will go to the store Friday but I think it already has a buyer. It sounds nice and plays well.
Got the F holes bound on the Bellanca 15” arch top. Rimset is done, need to carve the back and we’ll be off and running.
We had reunions and grandkids home in August so the shop was low priority for a while.
