Gluing the Kerfed Lining and Establishing the Proper  Radius for the Top and back

The profile of the top and back are pretty close as the sides were profiled prior to bending.  Next I glue the kerfed lining, and then sand the final radius into the top and back side of the rimset.

Large sanding dishes lined with 80G sandpaper are used.  They are  shaped with the proper radius.  15 feet for the back and 30 feet for the top.  This allows for a near perfect fit of the top and back on the rimset

Gluing the kerfed liners.  I usually use LMI white glue for this

Sanding dish in place.  This is a 15’ radius for the back
